Signs of Suicide |
A national prevention program that educates students (Middle School and High School) about warning signs for suicide and encourages them to ACT (Acknowledge, Care, and Tell a trusted adult) whether they have concerns about themselves or a friend. Supplemental lesson plans include coping skills, talking to a trusted adult, and more.

Policy + Procedure Consulting
Kacy Howard, NCF’s former Executive Director and nationally certified school suicide prevention specialist, will work with your team to identify and develop policies and procedures to implement a comprehensive suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention plan for your school or district. Potential areas of focus are: identifying risk and warning signs; prevention and postvention principles; reintegration after an attempt; dealing with traumatic loss; creating crisis plans; and much more.
