We are seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team and help us raise awareness and support for our organization's mission to promote mental wellness and reduce suicide. As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a critical role connecting NCF with those we serve.
Responsibilities:
- Seeks out opportunities to build education and awareness of NCF’s mission, programs and impact
- Develops mission related messaging and materials to help ensure effective community awareness and program delivery
- Manages digital and media outreach campaigns
- Assists the NCF team with planning, coordination and promotion of NCF events and fundraising campaigns
- Manages and distributes digital and print community education materials
- Monitors inventory and manages ordering of promotional materials as needed
- Maintains event and outreach calendar
- Assist in database management and maintenance
- Other duties as assigned to help NCF honor our mission
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in social media management, website maintenance, and digital storytelling.
- Proficient using graphic design platforms such as Canva
- Nonprofit and/or mental health experience preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
