You may have difficulty eating, sleeping, or functioning in your daily life. You may be grieving while caring for children or others who have been impacted by this loss.

Know that you are not alone, and that the pain and grief can transform with time. There are resources and support available to get you through this difficult time.

Coping with the loss of a loved one by suicide can be extremely difficult as we try to "make sense" of the suicide. Oftentimes, we are not able to fully understand why the suicide occurred, and we might grapple with the "what ifs" or what could have been done to prevent the suicide. Know that we all do the best we can with the information we have, when we have it.
