The Nate Chute Foundation in partnership with Montana SOARS presents Stacy York, LCSW for a conversation about supporting appropriate emotional development in children and youth.

This course will provide educators, school counselors, private mental health therapists, community mental health therapists, and various community members who work with children and youth detailed information on how trauma and suicidal behavior are linked.

We will look at:
  • how the brain develops during childhood and adolesence
  • how traumatic and adverse experiences during childhood development can impact brain development, impairment in emotional development, and suicidal ideation and behavior
  • learn applicable strategies that can be delivered in the therapy room, classroom, and various community agencies

CEUs are available for educators, LCSW, LCPC, and LMFT.

A light dinner and refreshments will be provided.  This event is free and open to the public.  Space is limited, please register below to reserve a space.
