Are you concerned about loved ones who might be struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts during the COVID-19 outbreak and beyond? In partnership with the Flathead City-County Health Department and Tamarack Grief Resource Center, the team at the Nate Chute Foundation will deliver this 90-minute "Question, Persuade, Refer" Gatekeeper training. As a QPR Gatekeeper, you will be able to: - Understand risk factors and warning signs of suicide - Gain confidence in asking about suicidal thoughts and intentions - Have a list of local and national resources to refer to for help. A digital copy of the QPR Gatekeeper training booklet "Ask a Question, Save a Life" will be provided to you. We will offer a designated walking path around the park with music provided by the Whitefish High School Jazz Band, preventative education for healthy choices, and local community vendors. Back by popular demand, and with a throwback Hawaiian theme, we're auctioning off riders to the highest bidder.
