Join a community of suicide loss survivors to find comfort and gain understanding as we share stories of healing and hope. The event features a screening of A Daughter’s Journey, an AFSP— produced documentary that follows Sarah, a young adult, through her story of milestones, family, coping and positive growth after the loss of her father. This year’s film shares hope, connection and resilience in the aftermath of a suicide loss. Kevin Hines is a mental health advocate, global speaker, best-selling author, documentary filmmaker and entrepreneur who reaches audiences all over the world with his story of an unlikely survival and his strong will to live. Two years after he was diagnosed with bipolar disorder (at 19 years of age), he attempted to take his own life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. He is one of only thirty-four (less than 1%) to survive the fall and he is the only Golden Gate Bridge jump survivor who is actively spreading the message of living mentally healthy around the globe.

Saturday March 17th: 10 a.m. Banked Slalom Race at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Come watch racers speed down Goat Haunt and through George's Gorge. Best time wins. All ages. 4:30 p.m. Community Night at the Bierstube with live music by Flip Wilsons. Bierstube will donate a portion of sales to NCF. All ages welcome, must be 21 to consume alcohol. Sunday March 18th: 10 a.m. Boardercross at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Racers go head to head in this great spectator event. All ages. 5:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony on the Bierstube deck. This course will provide educators, school counselors, private mental health therapists, community mental health therapists, and various community members who work with children and youth detailed information on how trauma and suicidal behavior are linked. We will look at:
